Member Spotlight
Marie McMillen, BEA co-vice president and BMS grade 7 reading/language arts teacher, was recently recognized for her liftetime of service to children. On May 7, 2010, Marie was awarded the Southwestern Region's NH School Administrators Association Champion for Children Award. Marie McMillen embodies the true spirit of this award. Over the years, she has coached many athletic teams in Bow and is one of the three 'founding fathers' of Bow Little League softball. Marie has served as troop leader for Boy Scouts as well as Girl Scouts. As a town leader, Marie was a member of the town's Budget Committee, as well as chair of the Bow School Board and the Bow High School Building Committee, which oversaw the construction of our first-ever high school.
